Plumber Notes: When arrived customer stated that every time the washing machine would drain it would gurgle in the kitchen sink. So removed washing machine out of the way and ran 5/8 cable ran 50 ft upon pulling the cable back. Pulled back a mouse. Put everything back together after cleaning up area. Water Heater Plumbing Service on December 4, 2023 in Fernandina Beach, (32034)

Plumber Notes: Inspected water heater downstairs inside home. Everything seems to be working properly. Both elements ohming at 13. Both thermostats turning on and off with manual activation of screwdriver. Upstairs moen shower valve with broken off cartridge inside is installed behind two piece. Hard fiberglass shell which will have to be opened up big enough to install new shower valve with schmitty plate for repair afterwards. Removed old water heater and installed new water heater. We ended up changing the style of water heater from a tall to a medium in order to get it to fit properly in the cubby hole. Also upstairs for the tub and shower. We installed a new tub and shower valve with a new schmitty plate to cover the access hole. We had to cut in the fiberglass around for a better finish…. read more

Turn the water heater back on and waited an hour for water to heat to heat up and make sure it was getting hot enough. Tested hot water water getting hot like it should. Plumber Notes: Customer not having good water pressure in the rooms. Water pressure appears to be only affecting hot side of water service. Went to multiple rooms and took aerator out to allow for dirt to come out of hot water line forced hot water system for about 5 minutes no debris was shown at this time. Also took out shower head to flush hot water system from shower valve and multiple rooms no debris found still low water pressure. Troubleshoot tankless water heaters in back of house to find out if tankless heaters are malfunctioning not allowing for water pressure because without a heat exchanger. Call Reen troubleshooting team help determine that all water heaters functions are working properly. Found water softener system in closet of hallway in middle of house bypass water softener to troubleshoot that system. Tested water lines at that time everything appears to be working with proper water pressure. Advised customer need to call water softener company to replace or repair water softener unit will leave water softener and bypass at this time…. read more
