Sewer and Drain Plumbing Service on January 7, 2025 in Jacksonville, (32209)

Plumber Notes: On arrival, I walked around the house to find a clean out where I found raw sewage on the ground and a broken 2 inch PVC pipe. There was a 4 inch clean out that had sewage coming out of it so I started with my 7/8 cable sending a cable into the cleanout and I was able to break up some of the stoppage. I believe there is more issues inside the pipe that I cannot see without having a camera job done. I highly recommend getting a camera out here so we can see what’s inside the pipe so that we can either repair or replace the sections. The 2 inch PVC pipe was able to cut out the fitting and furnco a new fitting in place. I found the broken PVC pipe with a fish tank full of trash smashed on top of it. I do believe this is a case of negligence from the tenants as the property is dilapidated. We had to move a bunch of trash to even find the clean out I believe there will be more problems in the future…. read more

Home Remodel Plumbers Plumbing Service on January 7, 2025 in Jacksonville, (32250)

Plumber Notes: Upon arrival, we were shown the propane fireplace to the left side of the house. The customer states the pilot won’t stay lit, and the fireplace is not wanting to light. We started by removing all the logs from on top of the burner assembly so I could get a look at the pilot and all of the gas supply. I seen a little bit of buildup on the pilot igniter but the pilot igniter, wood, spark, and a flame would happen But not stay. I started by cleaning the igniter and the pilot light itself. I noticed dust in the oxygen hole so using the tip of a razor blade I was able to get the dust out of the oxygen hole so that the pilot light can get adequate flow. I worked customers on the start up sequence again and tested the fireplace multiple times, ensuring that the fire fireplace works. I will be posting photos and videos showing the fireplace to the invoice…. read more

Sewer and Drain Plumbing Service on January 7, 2025 in Jacksonville, (32256)

Plumber Notes: Upon arrival we were shown the men’s restroom With all toilets stopped up and water in the floor drain. We started by bringing our cables and the K-6 machine into the men’s restroom And going through the floor drain first to see if we could break it up there. Floor drain yielded nothing I looked on past invoices and noticed all the other plumbers who have been out had to pull the handicap toilet in the men’s stall so I ended up pulling the toilet in. I had to send over 100 feet of 7/8 sewer cable and use 60 machine to get stoppage cleared. We pulled out a handful of toilet tissue and what seems to be Clorox sanitizing wipes. The Clorox wipes are non-flushable objects and should be thrown away, not flushed down the sewer system. After breaking the stoppage flush toilets through men and women’s restrooms to ensure that the stoppage was cleared. STOPPAGE CLEARED We remounted the toilet to the flange with a new wax ring tighten the toilet down and made sure it didn’t wiggle. We turned water onto the toilet and test for leaks no leaks detected. I called the new toilet and I have asked management to make sure that they do not mop around the base of the toilet for at least 12 hours. We have cleaned up all the human waste and as much water as we can and I am asking management of the Havertys to mop the floor In the men’s restroom just to sanitize the floors…. read more

Bathroom Remodeling Plumbing Service on January 7, 2025 in Jacksonville, (32205)

Plumber Notes: I replaced the customer-provided kitchen faucet by first turning off the water supply and gathering the necessary tools, including a new faucet, adjustable wrench, basin wrench, plumber’s tape, and a bucket. I then used the adjustable wrench to disconnect the hot and cold water lines from the old faucet, followed by a basin wrench to remove the mounting nuts securing it in place. After pulling the old faucet out, I cleaned the area around the sink before positioning the new faucet and securing it with the mounting nuts. I connected the water supply lines, tightened them, and tested the faucet to check for leaks. Once everything was working correctly, I cleaned up the area and removed any tools, leaving with a fully functioning new faucet. Job is complete… read more

I then ran my k60 both ways through the clean out on the other property of the dance studio pulled out a lot of rags tampons and a bunch of build up. I then ran my cables to clear out all of the roots for the time being, also rent a lot of water to flush the system.
