Plumber Notes: On arrival we found the mop sink. We busted a little bit of concrete around the strainer pulled the strainer out to run hand snake down it. We could not get the hand snake down it and through it so we switched to a bigger cable and proceeded to snake it from the mop sink. Could not get the cable through. Directly on the back side of the mop sink on the backside of the building was a clean out. We tried to snake it from there ran about 45 feet of cable and could not clear the mop sink. The final thing we did until we realized there was concrete in the mop sink was pop a ceiling tile and cut the vent attached to the mop sink and snaked it from there we ran 30 ft and it popped up the cleanout outside. We saw a wheelbarrow directly in front of the mop sink. With concrete in it. Came to realization that the mop sink has been getting concrete down it. The 3 compartment sink that was backed up had a bunch of screws concrete and dust buts on the stopper. We cleaned the stopper out got screws and other items out, then it drained fine. We will need to come back to pour calcisolve down the mop sink and then snake it out after it sits to break up the concrete in it. Called the contacts on the invoice twice each and got no response. The calcisolve and chain knocker will be an additional charge. 1/16/25 I started by vacuuming the water inside of the mop sink out and I found an extreme amount of concrete. While vacuuming I felt many rocks and debris get sucked up. We snaked the drain using 3 different heads after allowing the calci solve to sit in drain for a time. The calci solve ate a little bit of the concrete and we were able to bust just a little bit of it out using different size cables and different heads. I believe that the mop sink p trap is completely full of concrete and may need to be removed and a new p trap installed. I found a mix of grease-concrete-rocks-sand inside what we could get of p trap. I will be posting photos to the invoice of what I can see/found inside of ptrap. I am caution taping mop sink so that others know not to use it
