Plumber Notes: Customer has leak in ceiling in the living room from bathroom above when flushing toilet and using vanity sink. Upon inspection of the vanity found there was a gasket missing at the P-trap connection causing it to leak all over inside of the cabinet. Replaced seal at P-trap connection and corrected this leak under vanity cabinet . Cabinet has severe water damage. Also pulled the toilet to replace the wax ring and discovered the old wax was hardly there to begin with. Replaced wax ring with new extra thick ring reset toilet and corrected that leak issue as well. Customer then brought to my attention downstairs toilet is leaking around the base as well and she would like to have that wax seal replaced also. I pulled up the toilet and discovered the wax ring needed to be replaced and I replaced it also I had to cut the old bolts off and install new ones. But before I could do that I had to replace the toilet flange which was broken on the left side. I showed the homeowner damage to the flange and she proceeded to let me know that she would like to have that repaired as well.
