Plumber Notes: Repiped 3″ main line with copper and removed all galvanized piping. Removal of 2 backflows inside the water room. Starting from the galvanized piping at the 3 inch ball valve connected to the schedule 80 PVC. Will use Copper piping Pro-press reinstalling the check valve before the tee and 2 ball valves after the tee to shut down each line individually. Will need to reconfigure some of the piping to accommodate the new piping i.e the 1/2 inch line above/ Will need to cut out some of the galvanized fittings to thread them off the new existing MIP on the schedule 80 PVC. Disconnect the union on both of the backflows and remove the backflows and install 2 inch copper pipe. Will use pro-press technology to install the new pipe with pro-press fittings. Installed and checked water on first floor and top floor to make sure getting proper pressure. Hot and cold side working properly at this time.
