Bathroom Remodeling Plumbing Service on January 7, 2025 in Jacksonville, (32205)
Plumber Notes: I replaced the customer-provided kitchen faucet by first turning off the water supply and gathering the necessary tools, including a new faucet, adjustable wrench, basin wrench, plumber’s tape, and a bucket. I then used the adjustable wrench to disconnect the hot and cold water lines from the old faucet, followed by a basin wrench to remove the mounting nuts securing it in place. After pulling the old faucet out, I cleaned the area around the sink before positioning the new faucet and securing it with the mounting nuts. I connected the water supply lines, tightened them, and tested the faucet to check for leaks. Once everything was working correctly, I cleaned up the area and removed any tools, leaving with a fully functioning new faucet. Job is complete… read more

Sewer and Drain Plumbing Service on December 16, 2024 in Jacksonville, (32205)
Plumber Notes: On arrival I begin with trying to locate it, clean out on a house and was unable to locate a clean out so I then removed the toilet. Noticed that there was water holding at the bottom of the toilet and also water holding inside the tub. So once the toilet was removed I then ran my 7x cable down the toilet line and cleared the stoppage after about 40 ft. Once the stoppage was clear and I’ll pull back my cables. I did pull back a big ball of roots that was inside of the line. I also cleared the tub line from that. I did run my hand snake down the overflow of the tub just to clear out any of the debris that came up from the original stoppage. Once that was done I moved on to work on the kitchen. I started with my 5/8 cables to try to clear the stoppage. After my first attempt, I pulled back roots. After my second attempt, I pulled back more Roots. After my third attempt, I pulled back even more roots. I then use my bigger cables to try to clear the stoppage and had the same result pulling back roots. I then got permission to run the camera so I removed the toilet again. Run my camera down the toilet line. Notice that the connection where the plastic piping meets the cast iron is a bad connection and also notice that there’s a small crack in the cast iron where roots are growing through and I will be getting with our estimator to write up an estimate to get those fakes properly and to also get the kitchen fixed too after speaking with avi he told me to just disconnect the kitchen to give it relief for the time being… read more
Water Heater Plumbing Service on October 28, 2024 in Jacksonville, (32205)
Plumber Notes: Upon arrival I found the gas meter unlocked and the test gauge still intact. I started by removing the test rig and undoing the 6”nipple with cap coming from meter. I have to run and grab a smaller nipple to complete the installation. After reconnecting the gas line to the gas meter I went to restart the pilot light in the water heater in the garage. The pilot light did not light so I am going to try and clean the igniter. After trying to clean the igniter assembly and checking the gas lines for any clogs I was still unable to get the pilot lit. After talking and sending pictures to my team lead he recommended to replace the heater as it is almost 10 years old and is located in an area that elements are a factor in the life of the heater…. read more

Sewer and Drain Plumbing Service on July 15, 2024 in Jacksonville, (32205)
Plumber Notes: We took apart kitchen sanitary piping and tried to snake the line from there. The stoppage still did not break. We took apart both p-traps in the master bathroom and tried to snake them and the clog did not break. We decided to come back tomorrow. To try and snake the line from the vent stack on the roof above kitchen/ master bathroom. After we arrived we filled the kitchen sink with water before setting up our ladder to bring cable to the roof. We sent multiple links of cable through the vent above the master bath/ kitchen area of the house. I felt the clog break apart while pushing and pulling the cable down into the vent stack. We filled the kitchen sink to flood level to allow as much water to flow down the sanitary piping. After running the kitchen sink for a bit we turned on both sinks in the master bath all sinks are draining now. We are continuously allowing water to flow from all 3 sinks to test for stoppage and any leaks from taking apart p-traps yesterday…. read more
