Plumber Notes: Arrived and was told that the sewer was backing up throughout the entire house. After running the tub for over an hour, and filling and dumping the washing machine twice, it was determined that the stoppage worked itself out of the line over the weekend. I was then directed to the leak in the driveway that Hydroscoit marked out. After discussing all options with the homeowner, it was decided that Sam and I would return tomorrow after first call and run a brand new water service for the customer. Arrived on site today with Sam and ran new water service. Connected to existence ball valve at front of house and tested for leaks. No leaks upon departure. Warranty is 1 year on labor.... read more

Water Heater Repair and Installation Plumbing Service on June 17, 2022 in Jacksonville, FL (32223)

Plumber Notes: Customer not getting any hot water. Opened up water heater control panel to evaluate elements and thermostat. Thermostats are receiving correct voltage as well as elements it appears that heater can be rebuilt. Attach hose to drain water heater so that water heater can be rebuilt. Removed old elements and thermostat installed brand new thermostats in element. Turn water back on to heater the check for any leaks no leaks found at this time. Check voltage to element and thermostats elements and thermostats are getting proper voltage reading at this time. Advised customer that it would take about 45 minutes to an hour to see if the water heater is heating up properly and getting sufficient water. Also advised customer that this is a temporary fix do two heaters age and condition recommend replacing water heater as soon as possible.... read more

Plumber Notes: Major grease build up in kitchen causing backup. Snaked and removed blockage, to manager's approval. Asked by manager to fix sink leak. Faulty gasket in p-trap. Replaced and tightened back. No leaks. Recommend a jetting. Also the cleanout threaded plug out back needs to be replaced. Parts houses that carry 6 inch threaded plugs are closed.... read more

Complete Re-Pipe Plumbing Service on August 5, 2022 in Jacksonville, FL (32223)

Plumber Notes: Repipe of water service. Repiped water line from meter with new meter nipple to the house using 3/4 inch pex pipe. At the house installed new ball valve and hose bib. Secured hose bib to wall. Made several cuts in drywall so that water lines could be dropped down from attic to attach to existing fixtures. Cut out old copper lines to allow for using same holes for supplies. Installed new washing machine box in laundry area. Attached all fixtures to new water line. Also dropped 3/4 inch line in laundry area to route water into water softener the same way it was already connected and also connect to hot water heater. Turned water on at meter with hose bib on to get all dirt out of the line. Then tested each fixture to make sure all are getting proper water flow. Customer advised water pressure is low in hall bathroom advised customer best solution would be to rebuild or replace shower valve. Customer declined at this time. Connected dishwasher and ice mater with compression tees under sink. Tested and working properly at this time. Back filled all dig areas after checking for any leaks and no leaks found at this time.... read more

Complete Re-Pipe Plumbing Service on March 7, 2023 in Jacksonville, FL (32223)

Plumber Notes: We will be performing bathroom through attic with CPVC piping and fittings and adding one new shower valve in hallway bath which backs up to a closet. We'll repipe through attic down to the fixtures which consist of 2 toilet's, 1 stand alone shower, one tub shower, two bathroom sinks, one kitchen sink, ice maker ,dishwasher, 3 hose bibbs, and a water heater in garage. We will have to cut 6 to 10 holes neatly at each fixture. We will not be responsible for any drywall repair. We will also be replacing the water service to the home. We will get under the sidewalk there will be no cutting of this ID walk, we will be installing a 3/4 inch PVC water service all the way to house with new shut off. Our plan is to hand-dig this water service but if there are any obstacles like huge roots in the way we may have to get a machine to help dig. Again we will not be responsible for any of the landscaping or grass or shrubbery. To do this new service there is a 2 year warranty through Betros plumbing and a 5 year warranty on pipe and fittings through manufacture. Arrived, got drops for master and guest bathroom, dropped washer lines. We will return early tomorrow and get everything in the attic complete and finish what needs to be finished tomorrow. Plumber Notes: Upon arrival the general contractor explained that he was trying to shut the water off underneath vanity When the shut off In the wall Broke off causing the bathroom to be flooded as well as the hallway and both master closets. I repaired both hot and cold lines as well as replaced both shut off valves. Upon trying to shut off the valves underneath the left vanity they broke off in the wall also.
