Plumber Notes: Upon arrival, we were shown the propane fireplace to the left side of the house. The customer states the pilot won’t stay lit, and the fireplace is not wanting to light. We started by removing all the logs from on top of the burner assembly so I could get a look at the pilot and all of the gas supply. I seen a little bit of buildup on the pilot igniter but the pilot igniter, wood, spark, and a flame would happen But not stay. I started by cleaning the igniter and the pilot light itself. I noticed dust in the oxygen hole so using the tip of a razor blade I was able to get the dust out of the oxygen hole so that the pilot light can get adequate flow. I worked customers on the start up sequence again and tested the fireplace multiple times, ensuring that the fire fireplace works. Plumber Notes: A pool crew ripped out a 4-in main in the backyard, so now we have to reroute it. It’s about a 45-ft trench going around the new pool. Must return in the morning to finish. On day two, we were able to finish digging the trench and installing what ended up to be about 50 ft of pipe. We checked for slope to make sure it had fall and and backfield for support underneath the pipes. The homeowner was not home to allow us to test the system from the inside. Plumber Notes: Arrived at customer’s house. Customer stated that he was seeing water come from the floor. Upon further look into the problem we did notice the water on the floor. So we cut into the drywall behind the shower in the bedroom closet. We located the leak. The leak was coming from The shower rod because there was only pipe dope no Teflon tape used for shower rod. So we took out the shower rod out and put Teflon tape and pipe dope on the rod and screwed it back in. Ran the shower to insure there was no more leaks. Leak has stopped. Also checked tub area for leaks. There was none. We put access panels up to cover the holes We used a 14×14 for the bottom for the tub and a 8×8 for the tub and shower valve area. Plumber Notes: Arrived shut off main water meter. Cut out the damaged pipe located in the wall of the garage. Replaced it with 2 couplings and some new pipe. Dug up the shut off valve located on the outside of the house cut out old damaged valve. Replaced with a new 3/4 CPVC ball valve. And tied in with a PVC to CPVC transition coupling, a 1″ PVC 90 some 1″ pipe and a 1 ” coupling. Waited for glue time. Turned on water and tested for leaks. Plumber Notes: Arrived. We cut and removed the old recirculation pump. Disconnect old recirculation pump electrical. Cut out old piping. Install new piping. Install the new recirculation pump and reconnect the electrical. Turned on the new pump and tested it for leaks and that it is functioning properly. Plumber Notes: Turned off gas to heaters and shut power off and shut the water down. Then we cut the old tankless heaters loose and installed new ones (A.O smiths tankless heater for a rinnai.) We then tested the water lines and gas lines to ensure no leaks and proper connections. We then plugged in the new heaters and set the temp to 140. Which is typical for restaurants. Plumber Notes: We will start by shutting the water off at the back flow and cut out and replace 4″ sch.80 cpvc butterfly main shut off valve and continue cutting out and replacing all other valves in the garage. Once we have completed replacing the valves we will turn the water back on and test for leaks once the leak test is complete we will then go floor to floor and balance the pressure of the building. We will need access to at least one condominium on each floor during the balancing process Also during balancing process we will flush and clean regulators as needed. We will re insulate piping in garage where we have to remove existing insulation to replace the valves. Betros is not responsible for any drywall tile concrete flooring trim etc damage or repair. Plumber Notes: Dug up 85 ft from the meter to the house to lay one inch PVC for the new main line when we start to repipe backfield halfway so that the internet guy can put a new cable and our trench for their internet because it got cut in half. When we return I will finish backfilling and resetting after I hook it to the meter and to the house but water service has been run for new connection. Completed everything on the punch list, backfilled dirt and tested for leaks. Checked everything and it is up to code. Job is complete…. read more
