About the Hot Water for Heroes initiative

Hot Water for Heroes is a community give-back initiative launched by Betros Plumbing in August 2025. Born out of a deep love for Northeast Florida and a passion for serving others, this program is designed to recognize and uplift the quiet heroes among us — people who consistently put others first but may be facing challenges of their own. Through this initiative, Betros Plumbing donates and installs brand-new hot water heaters for deserving recipients, offering not just warmth, but dignity, comfort, and care.

Nominees for Hot Water for Heroes come from all walks of life, but they share one defining trait: selflessness. Whether it’s a teacher who pours into their students, a firefighter who shows up in times of crisis, a veteran who served with honor, or a senior citizen living in an aging home, this program exists to give back to those who’ve given so much. Families facing hard times, volunteers making a difference, and individuals impacted by natural disasters are all examples of those who might be nominated. With a simple submission, anyone can shine a light on someone in their community who deserves recognition and relief.
