Plumber Notes: Upon arrival, Miss Heather walked me through where the smells of sewer gas are most prevalent. We were shown the bathroom in the waiting area and a clean out in the hygienist office. Upon closer inspection in the front bathroom in the waiting area, I took off the clean out cap and unscrewed the plastic clean out plug, where I was blasted by a large amount of air. The air had enough pressure that when I grabbed a piece of toilet tissue that blew the toilet tissue in the air. I tried tracing the vent pipes in the ceiling to see if something was connected to the vent on accident and I did not find anything . I climbed on the roof on the roof was connected to the vent and nothing was connected. After speaking with my service manager and sending him video of the toilet tissue blowing around clean threads, Teflon tape and a thick layer of thread sealer and make sure to tighten the clean out cap all the way. I sprayed detector around the threads to show that no bubbles were the leak should be fixed. I took the clean cap off that’s in the hygienist office and I taped and do those threads As well and re-threaded the plug into position. I am posting videos and photos of everything I have found. I let Miss Heather know if the smell does continue what our pricing is for a smoke test to be done on a day the office can be closed.
