Plumber Notes: Upon arrival, we were shown the kitchen sink in unit number two and were told about the kitchen sink in unit number one as they are back to back and both are stopped up. The maintenance man told me that he already snaked 14 foot through the P-trap of the kitchen sink and felt a stoppage, but his cable broke when it hit the stoppage. Since both sinks are back to back and the vent is shared, I went on the roof and dropped my 5/8 cable hitting the stoppage about 20 feet in and was able to clear the stoppage. I then ran an extra 30 feet of cable to ensure that the stop it was cleared and to break up anything in the old cast-iron pipe. STOPPAGE CLEARED the stoppage was a giant hair ball maintenance has told tenants to not wash hair in the sink any more…. read more

Plumber Notes: I replaced the customer-provided kitchen faucet by first turning off the water supply and gathering the necessary tools, including a new faucet, adjustable wrench, basin wrench, plumber’s tape, and a bucket. I then used the adjustable wrench to disconnect the hot and cold water lines from the old faucet, followed by a basin wrench to remove the mounting nuts securing it in place. After pulling the old faucet out, I cleaned the area around the sink before positioning the new faucet and securing it with the mounting nuts. Sewer and Drain Plumbing Service on December 16, 2024 in Jacksonville, (32205)
Plumber Notes: On arrival I begin with trying to locate it, clean out on a house and was unable to locate a clean out so I then removed the toilet. Noticed that there was water holding at the bottom of the toilet and also water holding inside the tub. So once the toilet was removed I then ran my 7x cable down the toilet line and cleared the stoppage after about 40 ft. Once the stoppage was clear and I’ll pull back my cables. I did pull back a big ball of roots that was inside of the line. I also cleared the tub line from that. I did run my hand snake down the overflow of the tub just to clear out any of the debris that came up from the original stoppage. Once that was done I moved on to work on the kitchen. I started with my 5/8 cables to try to clear the stoppage. After my first attempt, I pulled back roots. After my second attempt, I pulled back more Roots. After my third attempt, I pulled back even more roots. I then use my bigger cables to try to clear the stoppage and had the same result pulling back roots. I then got permission to run the camera so I removed the toilet again. Run my camera down the toilet line. Notice that the connection where the plastic piping meets the cast iron is a bad connection and also notice that there’s a small crack in the cast iron where roots are growing through and I will be getting with our estimator to write up an estimate to get those fakes properly and to also get the kitchen fixed too after speaking with avi he told me to just disconnect the kitchen to give it relief for the time being… read more
