Plumber Notes: Upstairs bathroom that is straight ahead when you go upstairs has a broken cartridge. Attempted to remove cartridge using several different tricks to get it out without success. Advised customer would need to cut drywall behind shower to replace valve due to cartridge being stuck. Cut drywall, betros doesn’t repair drywall, to expose the valve cut out the water lines and installed new valve to existing water lines tying into shower riser and installing new tub spout. Installed new brush nickel finish trim. Upstairs to the left there was another bathroom that also had a shower valve that had a cartridge that’s stuck in valve. The access in the front of this shower allowed enough space to replace valve through access. Disconnected valve and replaced with a new valve. Installed new brush nickel trim. Turned water in to check for leaks no leaks found at this time.... read more

Installed an expansion tank and new connections to the water heater attaching the existing flew. Used galvanized fittings to bring the pipes up to code. Plumber Notes: Master bathroom flapper was letting water pass. Toilet kept running constantly. Changed flapper. Toilet in master bathroom working properly. Hallway bathroom toilet handle was pointing up. Handle was broken. Replaced handle and flapper. Flapper didn't have enough chain to reach handle. Replaced flapper. Toilet is working properly. Washer machine box hot side was not opening at all. It was stuck due to corrosion. Replaced washer machine box. Tested. No leaks. Garbage disposal blades are a little loose. It is working properly therefore there is no need to change it yet. If problem gets worse then I recommend changing it out.... read more

Slab Leak Repair Plumbing Service on August 26, 2022 in St. Augustine, FL (32092)

Plumber Notes: Customer has water damage in bathroom on first floor of house in the bathroom to the right of the house. Customer is on a well and has put, system next to pool on the left side of house. Pump not showing any indication of active water running into home. Did sound test to heat if any waterlines are making noise in the wall as well as in the slab didn't hear any sounds coming from water lines. Water lines are in cpvc. Upstairs bathrooms all have good pressure at this time. Determined that slab leak is not likely. Ran fixtures to find out if fixtures are leaking. Toilet and sink both seemed to be working properly and didn't show any leaking at this time. Took faceplate off shower trim to see if there is water damage in the wall. Ran shower and found that delta shower diverter is leaking into the wall. Advise customer diverter leak could be cause of water damage recommend replacing diverter stem before proceeding with slab investigation. Order part for return trip schedule at a later.... read more

Plumber Notes: Customer thought they had a water leak in downstairs bathroom. After investigating found that the leak was from the push button diverter. Replaced diverter and tested no water showing up at this time. In upstairs bathroom customer had rusted tub drain and overflow. Replaced with new tub drain and overflow. Also tub spout leaking when diverted for the shower. Replaced tub spout but issue still present. Advised issue most likely in the valve recommend replacing moen valve with new moen valve to resolve issue. Advised customer would come back to make repair.... read more

Plumber Notes: We will be replacing Center water heater that is leaking. It is a rl-94 2014 natural gas model rianni. Water heater on the right is throwing a 10 code that might be caused by Center heater being unplugged this is a bid for a single heater. If we have to do two it'll just be times two. Unhooked old heater and got it disposed in the van, hung new heater up. Pipes heater in and hooked gas up tested lines for leaks and no leaks. Did leak detection on gas lines, no leaks and heater is working great job is complete.... read more
